   Dermot O`Leary announces, "in no particular order", the 8 acts definitely thru

to Week 5 are Kitty Brucknell; The Risk; Craig Colton; Little Mix; Marcus Collins;
 Johnny Robinson; Janet Devlin; Frankie Cocozza;
 and the two acts with the fewest votes, who have to sing again in front of the
 judges, who will decide who will be the 9th act thru to Week 5 by voting for the
 act they want to send home, are - Sophie Habibis and Misha B.

  The actual order, by percentage of public votes (not revealed until 12 Dec 2011)
 1st Janet Devlin (14.7%); 2nd Little Mix (13.7%); 3rd Craig Colton (13.0%);
 4th Kitty Brucknell (12.9%); 5th Johnny Robinson (12.7%);
 6th Marcus Collins (10.1%); 7th The Risk (7.2%); 8th Frankie Cocozza (5.7%);
 9th Sophie Habibis (5.4%); 10th Misha B (5.1%).
(xfactor.itv.com website 12 Dec 2011).

   The bottom two - Sophie Habibis and Misha B - perform again in front of the
 judges. Alexandra Burke does not vote, instead Kelly Rowland casts her vote by
 phone from the US and votes to send Sophie home; Louis and Tulisa also vote
 to send Sophie home; so Gary is not required to vote, and by three votes, Sophie
 is eliminated.

   Immediately after the X Factor "live" show on ITV1, ITV2 screened Xtra Factor -
 "live" from the X Factor studios - presented by Olly Murs and Caroline Flack, who
