   16 acts perform.

   Rhythmix, 3rd act on stage, perform Niki Minja`s Super Bass.

 "Results" show: Sunday 9 October 2011

   Fountain Studios, Wembley, North London.

   Guest performances: Matt Cardle (winner X Factor series 7); Cee Lo Green

   Results: no viewer`s vote this week.
     Dermot O`Leary asks each judge, in turn, to name which three of their four acts they wish to "save" (i.e. through to Week 2) and which one of their four acts they are sending home.

     In the Groups category, the first act "saved" by Tulisa is Rhythmix, who are through to Week 2.
     Tulisa next "saves" Nu Vibe, and then "saves" The Risk, before announcing that the act which she is sending home is 2 Shoes.

 

   Immediately following the X Factor "results" show, "live" on ITV1, Xtra Factor is shown "live" on ITV2 from the X Factor studio, where presenters Caroline Flack and Olly Murs interview the 12 surviving acts, including Rhythmix.
