said, "We don`t want to wait as long as Matt Cardle (winner of X Factor 2010) had to, before we release our album. We don`t want to
wait until the end of next year (2012). Obviously, we want the album to be perfect but we want to get on with it". (Tellymix. 19 Dec 2011).

to begin recording
the album... we want to make the album the best it can be. It will be RnB/hip-hop/pop mix, we`re all co-writing our stuff and we are
going to put our creative spin on it." (Bucks Free Press. 10 Jan 2012).

On 11 January 2012, Little Mix were in a recording studio in Brighton, Sussex. (The Mirror. 11 Jan 2012), where the girls were writing for

Stannard, co-writer of The Spice Girls` Wannabe and 2 Become 1, and who had founded Biffco
recording studios at Chain Pier, 16 North Street, Hove, near Brighton, Sussex, where One Direction had recorded their album.
The girls were quoted in The Mirror. Perrie said, "We`re going a bit urban old school with a bit of pop. We want to bring back old
